This application functions as a text-to-speech engine, suitable for integration with your digital book reader. Additionally, for users with visual impairments, it is compatible with screen-readers and other speech text services.

The current language options include Albanian (Northern accent), Brazilian Portuguese, Castilian Spanish, Czech, American English, Esperanto, Georgian, Kyrgyz, Macedonian, Polish, Russian, Serbian, Slovak, Tatar, Turkmen, Ukrainian, and Uzbek.

Upon installation, users can launch the application to choose their preferred language and download a voice. It is recommended to navigate to the Android Text-to-Speech settings to designate RHVoice as the primary engine.

If your desired language is not available within the application, we encourage users to gain insight into the development process of both the application and its voices before providing feedback. Further details about voice creation can aid in understanding our limitations and process.

Our development team consists of visually impaired professionals dedicated to delivering high-quality speech synthesis solutions to users facing similar challenges. Our primary goal is to assist individuals whose languages lack adequate text-to-speech support.

The application is built upon our open-source RHVoice project accessible on GitHub. The voices offered are contributions from various organizations and volunteers. While several voices are free of charge, there are some premium options requiring payment. Profits generated are shared between voice developers and the application team to sustain ongoing operations and enhancements.

We welcome suggestions for introducing new languages by contacting us through our support email address. It is essential to note that creating voices for additional languages is a complex and time-consuming process that presents technical challenges.
